I recently visited White Windmill Bakery & Cafe, and it was an amazing experience! The bakery items were incredibly fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options that made it hard to choose. Their coffee was rich and flavorful, perfectly complementing the tasty pastries. I also tried one of their fresh sandwiches, and it was delightful—made with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. The ambiance of the cafe was very pleasant, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, I highly recommend White Windmill for anyone looking for great food and a cozy atmosphere!

Overall thoughts: a very cute cafe that is easy to get to from Doraville train station with delicious pastries and good coffee.

Food:
We ordered two sweet pastries, one savory pastry, two coffees, and one order of their fish shaped bread. With tip, it was ~$50. However, the price of one coffee and one pastry will probably run you $10-$15 with tip.

The sweet pastries were a strawberry & cream croissant and a mini pecan pie. We ate the croissant at the cafe. It was light and sweet. The cream was super soft, and the strawberries tasted sweet and fresh.

The savory pastry was akin to something we had in South Korea. It was a hot dog in sweet pastry with ketchup and mayo on the top. It's a unique pastry, but it was very good.

Lastly, we ordered the fish shaped bread with red bean filling. This was something that we loved and was absolutely perfect. The red bean filling is sweet and warm with just the right consistency to match the sweet pastry. This was definitely our favorite.

The coffee was also good, both in quality and taste.

Service:
The pastries are set up as self-service, where you pick up tongs and a tray and select the items you wish to purchase. Once completed, head up to the main counter for payment. This is also where you can order coffee or sandwiches.

Atmosphere:
The inside has a cozy and warm vibe that is very pleasant. There are a variety of seating options (hi-tops, regular tables, and low chairs) to choose from.

The only downside is that if there are multiple people browsing the pastries, it's not clear which direction you should walk and makes the area feel a little crowded.

Such a cute cafe! I think it might be too loud or not enough outlets to study at. But they have a wide variety of pastries! I also like their selection of coffee. Cake, macarons, and pastries are more on the pricier side. Their rose latte came with pretty art, but I think the strawberry refresher was kind of basic.

It’s a quiet bakery with a variety of pastries. A good spot to study. Everything was pretty fresh. The bread and pastries are good. They have sweet and savory options, so you have something to choose from. The area where you pick out the pastries from the case is pretty narrow, so it’s hard to move around when there are a lot of people in the store.

Our group got a bunch of stuff to share. It's hard to find good gluten free baked goods, they did good with their gluten free brownie! I also got the taro bubble tea with tapioca pearls. The atmosphere was great. Lots of pastries to choose from.

The atmosphere here is very calming- slightly dimmed lights making the ambience peaceful

The food was very delicious I would highly recommend the chicken cutlet sandwich!

I also got a vanilla latte it was beautiful with a heart design on top when I received the drink!
The cakes are so stunning and even more delicious

Something for everybody there is so many options and flavors to choose from!
I couldn’t decide which slice of cake I wanted they all are so enticing - so I ended up with two slices they were both absolutely perfect and moist yet still fluffy.

The bathroom was very clean

The staff is very friendly

The parking is a little tight for bigger vehicles but totally do-able, the lot is somewhat busy though so it might be harder to find a spot.
