Between two flights I ordered a Veggie Melt Sandwich and the taste was quite good in my opinion. Only the appearance of the sandwich was so so though. And in general I have to say that the whole shop looks a bit dingy, which could be improved from the management. However, I would eat the same sandwich again.

On my vacation trip I had a stopover in Detroit and I had to eat at the airport and I discovered this place, very good and very tasty, I recommend it if you have a stopover in Detroit.

Stopped by the B gates at the airport for some sandwiches
The person at the counter was not very helpful
So we got one whole wheat and a normal flour sandwich
The whole wheat person got the regular flour and the other person who doesn’t like the taste of wheat got wheat bread
The sandwiches were really dry and not too good
I was there and will be traveling via this airport but definitely not coming here again

The person who took my order was ignoring all of us in line for long stretches at a time instead of just making eye contact, greeting us and telling us she would be right with us. That’s the wrong spot for a person with that bad habit. Young man who made my salad was very friendly and efficient. Definitely made me feel welcome. Then when it was time to pay, I encountered the same attitude as with the order taker. Cashier was visiting and laughing loudly with her coworker. Not very interesting in stopping to greet me, offer service or just make polite chitchat. Turned me off immediately. The young man in the middle should be at all three public facing positions! PS Wish there was a half salad option at the airport! Just needed a little something to get me to lunchtime at my destination. The salad was very good but pricey and way more than I needed. I did inquire when I placed my order and I was abruptly told no; very unpleasant and unprofessional. If I’m ever trapped at gate B with a delayed flight, I will definitely not come here again.

It's an airport food stall, and a decent one at that. I was there midweek December 2023. Service was quick and professional. Staff moved the customer along with purpose in a friendly way. Food itself was Potbelly typical. Al of our soup and sandwiches were made correctly. Small seating area can fill quickly, so some took their food to their gate. Will go again when in Concourse B/C.

I am being nice giving this a 3 star, but I don’t believe in giving a 1 or 2 star unless absolutely necessary. I won’t say this was the worst experience, but it wasn’t the best. The staff was unpleasant and borderline rude. The sandwich was was decent looking but I had to pick the lettuce off because it was brown. Definitely would have taken it back if we didn’t have to catch a flight.
