Dr Grand is the best. He truly cares about his patients. Dr. Grand’s nurse, Nancy, is always fast to return calls and prescriptions are refilled immediately. The office team is excellent. Phone calls are returned fast. Billing is accurate and timely. I won’t go anywhere else. Everyone in Dr. Grand’s practice truly cares about the patient experience.

Love this practice. I recently moved from McKinney to Dallas and needed a new provider. After reading reviews, I decided to see Dr. Grand anyway because I know we live in a world where people are so quick to leave bad reviews for anything. I'm glad that I scheduled an appointment. Dr. Grand, Heidi and the staff have been so helpful. I appreciate the return calls even if they are late in the evening and appreciate not being treated like another number. Both providers go above and beyond. Thank you.

Writing this to inform anyone to stay away from this practice. I was unable to attend an appointment and am now in collections for missing an appointment due to a death in my family.

Pretty incredible to think that a Dr office has this kind of practice in the first place, but here we are today. Literally sent to collections over some $50 charge because I was full time caregiving for a dying family member. Well they will never be getting a cent of this money that's for sure. Credit will recover, stay far away from this place.

Dr Grand and HediVanderbrook have been my primary care physician for over 15 years. I can not offer enough accolades to to their ability’s , kindness, and level of care and caution they put into each and every visit. They are always very concerned for their patients and exercise caution meaning digging deeper in to health problems that something minor at this time can spread to a whole different problem needing further treatments. Dr. Grand and Heidi V. Are top notch in my opinion and would recommend them to anyone for health care!!! They taken care of me for over 15 years and now also care for my father who had Alzheimer’s. They care and knowledge is just simply put “The BEST”.

Please stay away from this place. I needed a pre-op medical clearance. Prior to the appointment, I called and asked how much they charged for the appt. The front desk staff said she didn’t know because she had to send it off to the insurance first. Once I arrived to the appt I asked again; still clueless on how much they charge. Now I’m in the room waiting on the doctor. The doctor comes in and say the front desk lady told her to tell me, that my insurance not going to pay bc it’s an elective surgery. She never mentioned this to me. I just got the bill today and they billed me for $300. All that appt consisted of listening to my lungs(4 deep breaths), blood pressure, look at ears and throat. The description they used for billing is Medicare pre-op exam. I’m only 40yrs old, I don’t qualify for Medicare. This is the reason they don’t have a thriving practice. Shady business.

Update: 11/22/24- I just received a letter terminating their relationship with me(for the original review above) as if I was going back. I called to dispute the bill and they never called me back. It was a regular office visit in my opinion(based off what was done). However, they called other clinics I had appts with, to see why I cancelled there appt. In my termination letter, they alluded to significant health issues, they have never discussed any significant health issues with me. Again, please seek medical care with a provider that actually provides CARE.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE!

I have been seeing Dr. Harrell Grand since the early 90s. He's not just the Best physician in the world but he is a good friend who cares about how I am doing. I can fully trust his diagnosis. Plus he is always up to date in his practice for keeping his patience well informed on the latest medicine and techniques that work to keep us going. He's constantly concerned with what is going on with me.
I feel safe with his methods of keeping me alive and going.
Plus it's always interesting to find out how his horses are doing.
I have never had a problem with his office personnel and his assistant Nancy is the best I have ever encountered. Any negative issues with her she is hard working and caring. The best at drawing blood for my Lab work. And always friendly with a smile.

Outstanding Internist - extremely thorough…however the absolute WORST, most UNPROFESSIONAL medical staff I have ever been to EVER! If I could rate this office at negative 10, I would.

The staff is so incredibly RUDE & all uneducated. Where does he find these people

My husband (a long-time patient) had an appointment on a Wednesday. He needed refills sent to our mail in pharmacy. It took me three days of calling & finally I got into a screaming match with his Medical Assistant. SERIOUSLY a screaming match. We will never step foot into that office again.

Dr Grand, good luck to you, but ultimately, it’s up to you to manage your staff.

Dr. Grand is a good knowledgable doctor and has managed my father's chronic care for years however his staff and nurses are probably some of the worst that I've come across in healthcare. As a healthcare provider myself, this speaks volumes. The staff there is very unprofessional, unorganized, and overall lack medical knowledge. His staff engaged in a full on argument turned screaming match with my mother over a simple pharmacy change request. His staff also did this to my father in person when he went to inquire about a cancelled visit that he was charged for. Any staff member who does that definitely should not be working in healthcare nor handling patients. Unfortunately, Dr. Grand has lost a long-time patient due to this but in that same breath, it is the doctor's job as well as the practice manager's job to ensure they have a team that can treat patients with respect, care, and dignity.
