Buyer beware!

Purchased furniture from here. About 18k with of furniture , all tables are not cracked. Within 12 months of use cracks have gone straight through and look horrible. Such a large purchase with “ warranty “ and nothing has been done to fix this.

Multiple emails have been sent about this issue and only get “ we will let the manager know and we will work on it “ and nothing.

I have to now purchase new tables to replace all the broken ones.

Would never purchase from here again unfortunately.

Buyer beware! Not even worth looking at this company. They list everything on their website as in stock and ready to ship. I attempted to place multiple orders of booths, tables, and table bases of items advertised as in stock and ready to ship, however in both cases I was later contacted and informed that the items were on back order and could take 8 weeks or longer to ship. It’s a waste of your time to shop here.

I have made two purchases with this company. The first one went well. The second one was really disheartening. After spending significant money, some parts to sets of tables were left off the pallet. As a result I was not able to assemble my tables. When I reached out to the company they refused to take any responsibility to believe they could have forgotten a part. They told me that I could purchase the part, but they could not ship me the part because it would break up a set. I do not understand why they were able to sell me the part but not replace a missing part. There were several other issues with these tables and they refused to take any culpability or even consider that maybe there was a problem. While I ordered all the same bases, I received multiple versions of the base. I get it, these are made in another country and there are variations, but the tables do not look alike and they are different heights. I cannot push them together to make one long table because of the height difference. When I explained this I was told it’s all me and to unscrew the feet more. I sent pictures showing that the feet were different and even though I unscrewed them completely to raise the table it would not make up the gap between the two heights. The tables look OK, but I will definitely not shop here again. I caution you to be very careful when ordering.

When I read other bad reviews for A1, I'm surprised because my purchase experience is very good with this company. I compared prices with several major companies online before I finally decided to buy from A1. A1 has the best price than all the others. I was a little concerned about the quality because the price was too good. I contacted the sales team at A1 and felt the team was very professional and patient. They answered all my doubt and questions. They sent pictures taken from their showroom to show the real items other than the online pictures so I felt more confidence to their products. I finally bought all my restaurant furniture from A1. I must say I couldn't be more satisfied with what I received. The furniture is beautiful and a great match with my restaurant style. I'm very happy the quality is even beyond what I expected at such price range. There is only one tiny problem that some of the patio metal chairs got a little scratched during shipping. I contacted the sales team. They sent me some spray paint right away. The scratches are fixed easily with the spray paint. Overall, I'll buy from A1 again and strongly recommend restaurant owners to buy from this company too!

I've used them for 3 separate projects; a restaurant, a bar, and a cafe. I have been pleasantly surprised each time. HUGE inventory in-house with a very wide selection available. I've had no issues with customer service. I'm going back today to get tables/chairs for another bar.

Purchased 18 tables. They arrived and looked great. Within 30 days every table including ones that were never used were delaminated and unuseable. Sent video to A1. They agreed that tables were garbage but were unwilling to replace the tables. They sent me a refund of $825.00 dollars leaving me out over $2400.00 in brokerage fees and shipping. A lot of money to have tables for 60 days. Will never use A-1 again and strongly suggest that no one else does.

AS PROMISED I WILL UPDATE MY REVIEW FROM 1 STAR TO 3.5 AS THIS DID COST ME EXTRA TIME AND MONEY!. THE NEW TABLES THAT YOU SENT US ARE EXACTLY AS PROMISED. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU! I UNDERSTAND THAT MISTAKE HAPPEN.

The tables, at the time I ordered were not on sale and there was no mention of them being discontinued at any time. When I asked to have tables replaced I was told that if you replaced them that the same problem would probably happen again. I asked about replacement with another table you offered and was told that you would be willing but I would have to pay full price of tables and all shipping and brokerage fees up front. ( another $2400.00 ) I took your refund because something is better than nothing. As far as your comment to call you. If you truly care about my business you would call me. Why would I waste another minute of my time or money on what is obviously a losing battle.

If you really want to fix this situation send me Melamine Paneling Table tops in the same sizes and quantity as the original order. I will pay 50% of the cost of the new tables up front. You cover all shipping and brokerage costs for sixty days, if at the end of sixty days the tables are as promised I will pay the remaining money owed on the tables and I will also pay 50% of the shipping and brokerage fees. I will also remove this review and give you a 5 star rating.

I want to leave an honest review, and start by saying I did not go through with my purchase.

The product - an outdoor table that we only needed 2 of. In the past year we have replaced every other table in our building, and needing some new ones for our covered pergola patio at our 200 seat restaurant. On the website, and on the phone, it was explained it would need to be covered, as it could not handle all the elements (rust being a big concern). I appreciated that attention to detail and thoughtfulness, and was ready to move forward with a purchase, as it was (and still is) the right solution for us.

I got the quote for freight - basically doubling the price of the tables. I used to work in shipping, and am very familiar with their rules/regulations. I called to ask about it, and was told that the warehouse said ups/fedex would not ship anything that large. I know that's not true, so I asked what are the dimensions of the box, at which point I was told that the legs were too big and could not be shipped. Its a 48x30 table and the legs, are 42" tall, and all of it was disassembled. So how can the legs be unshippable, but not the table top? I did some quick math, adding 4" of padding to Length and Width, and then 12" to the depth, leaving room for the legs, and the ground shipping was going to cost more than freight. I expressed my frustration that the warehouse lied, as it could be shipped, and if freight was cheaper, they should have just said so.

So a little frustrated at this point, but decide to pull the trigger anyway! The price is right, and I want the tables. So I go online to make payment, and they don't take American Express?! I know their processing fees are higher. So instead of passing that on to the customer, you just refuse those payments? Ok, no worries, they said I can send a check. But they won't be able to ship for 2 weeks as that is how long it takes to clear a check? In what world is that true? This isn't Inventing Anna or Catch me if you Can. Banks can clear stuff immediately. 3 days max on check holds, anything else is suspect and you should get a faster bank.

The product is one that I was really interested in, and even with the annoying shipping excuses, I was ready to process payment. Every business has the right to make whatever rules they want to adhere to, and I support that. But it doesn't mean customers (or potential customers) have to like it, especially when they believe the policies seem to lack clarity, and common sense.

I'm not owed anything, or even an apology isn't required here. I just wish they were more business friendly, as this could have been the start of something great. Now I have to go find options elsewhere. I hope their policies change, and we can work together in the future.
