When I moved to Miami, I needed a firm I could trust. I was introduced to Abitos, and the service has been impeccable. They are very fast, always responsive, extremely professional and reliable. Besides helping me on the tax returns ( very complex in my case), I had a big issue with IRS that was mistakenly charging me a penalty of thousands of dollars. I received this letter from IRS between Christmas and New year's eve, so you can imagine how nervous I was. The firm was on vacation but, when I informed them by email the issue, they immediately responded
( including the firm partner) and solved it for me. Outstanding, I will never forget this.

In order to not make this a long post, all I’ll say is, be really careful. This firm will not stand behind their services. Obvious and serious tax preparation mistakes were answered with deceit and lack of accountability. You do not want this unprofessional and unethical group of individuals to represent you in front of the IRS. After a couple of years, I will go somewhere else, and I recommend you do too.

UPDATE: I can't reply to your response, so I'll do it here. Ms de Morais, to be clear, I was not asking for anything out of the ordinary. I submitted a lot of information, and a few months later I receive my tax documents. Said documents had errors. That simple. Some were simple oversight (e.g., your preparers didn't ask for any clarifying question on my HSA spending), some where mistakes (e.g., a credit coming from an extension was listed in the 1040, I never made such payment, nor I was applying for an extension). When I asked about those issues, I was just given deceitful information and a rude attitude. As customers, are we expected to don't ask questions? We find something that's not right, something that can get us in trouble with the IRS, and we are supposed to just ignore it, or is the business model that we need to pay more for simple answers? I found a mistake, am I expected to pay more for your firm to do what was expected in the first place? On top, I paid for an additional estimate a total of $300. I was given a result, when I asked simple questions to understand the numbers, I was simply dismissed and deflected. At this point I simply don't trust your firm to represent me in front of the IRS. If I had followed your advise and submitted the documents, I would have gotten into a lot of trouble. All I was looking for was accountability, and I got none.
