I used to pawn stuff there a lot even my laptops from time to time but now they have become snooty on what they accept and what they don't. Now they won't accept any laptops unless they are gaming laptops or Apple laptops. Well here's a clue people who have those sure as heck aren't trying to pawn them. A gaming laptop can go for 500 to 5,000 dollars and they actually think people are going to pawn those kinds if laptops for the insulting amount of money a pawn shop would give them for it? And an apple laptop can cost anything from 1,000 dollars to 2,500 dollars or more depending on which one you choose and they honestly think someone is going to pawn one of those for the meaningless 75 dollars to 100 they might give someone for them? You know this world is going to the wolves when pawn shops are so picky they won't take the same things they used to take over stuff they wished people would pawn.

Been with Aok for years this is the first time I came home after I pawn my Xbox and then I took it home I see my controller cord was missing from it I am not please the lady said everything been wrap up and that what it was. How does that end up missing it wasn't even wireless disappointed.

UPDATE: Took my. Bracelet to another repair store and was told that the entire bracelet is junk and there was no way that any experienced jeweler could have missed that. I also took a pendant also purchased from AOK that was represented to me as diamonds only to find out that was false. Purchased a bracelet and it broke the next day..They made the repair at no charge. About a month later the bracelet broke again. I took it back for repair and had every intention of being charged for the repair. I went back to check on the repair and was informed that five links were weak and all needed repaired which would cost as much as the original price of bracelet. Disappointed that the bracelet was not thoroughly inspected before being placed on sales floor. Even more disappointed in the way I was spoken down to by the clerks. Will not be purchasing anymore items from A OK. Ever!

Will be taking all items i have out of this pawn shop and never using the location for anything ever again was left on hold for over 30 minutes without a single staff member checking on what I needed. I don't have a car so I can't drive ever location to look for my sons birthday present.

I really can’t think of a time where I was dissatisfied with a transaction at A-Ok west street . Jeff and Kylie have been so helpful and take the time to make sure I’m getting the most for my items that I bring in. I have recently interacted with Melody and found her to be knowledgeable, friendly and professional i with the items values and she always has the answer to the questions that I need information on. she has a good attitude and she always gets the transaction completed to my satisfaction. good salespeople aren’t all equal and Melody is top of the mark and best of the best.
