Great service. The only one rental company in that lot that accepted my Mastercard as proof of insurance (I called my provider to make sure). All others didn't want to accept it and expected me to pay $40/day for insurance that I already had. I'm happy that I found Elita. I'd rent from them again. Self-drop was easy and very well explained. They always answered to my questions.

I rented a mini Cooper from here using a website, i was sent a text by Elite rent a car as soon as they confirmed, upon my arrival at LAX and even way before arriving, I was sent clear instructions by Elite rent a car.

*When I landed, I met with Kevin at designated pickup location (will be mentionedin the text), i took a shuttle (shuttle M ) from the LAX to this spot (remote rental car depot, this is how all rental car spots do over here i guess), and then the representative picked me up.

-the paperwork process was very easy it took about 10 minutes and Kevin was really nice.
*deposit is 300 $. Which I got it back today after 4 days .
I picked up the car full tank and i was asked to return it full tank, reasonable enough.

*I want to also mention that the car is very gas friendly, during my 4 day stay and driving all around the LA, I only filled it once.

The car drove perfect I absolutely loved it. The price was amazing, very reasonable, for a rental car in LA, actually it was the cheapest at the LAX area.

-Overall i had a great experience, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to do business with this location.

* I'll attach some of the pictures I took, the car looked brand new, and very clean, definitelythey take well care of them.

I had the worst experience!

When I went to pick up the car, only to find that the office was closed (it was 5pm supposed to be open until 6pm), and I was effectively scammed into paying double. The man on the phone claimed he couldn’t access my voucher and insisted that I needed to pay for insurance, even though it was already included in my booking (as stated in the voucher). I also provided him with a photo of my personal insurance, which he refused to accept because it’s an international policy. Since when do rental companies not accept international/canadian insurance?

I was forced to pay an additional fee on top of the rental fee I had already paid, with the threat that he would hang up and deny me access to the car if I didn’t comply. He insisted that I pay first and resend all the documents, and even made me assure him that I wouldn’t dispute the charges! Furthermore, he sent me a contract that incorrectly stated I only had 800 miles, even though I paid for unlimited mileage.

This has been the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience I’ve ever had in over 10 years of renting cars in the U.S.

Found this as the cheapest rental option in LA but was a bit hesitant since you get what you pay for. I’m glad I stuck with them because everything was perfect.

You take a shuttle to the car rental pick up area (everyone does) where our driver (really chill dude) was waiting for us (call them once you get to LAX). He took us on a 5 minute drive to a small office. There Fuat went over details and gave us our keys. The car itself was a bit older, a little slow and could have been perhaps a tiny bit cleaner but we were really just looking for something to get us from point A to B so we were totally fine with it. We drove around LA, Malibu and Jashua Tree park so I will say it was super reliable.

Our deposit was returned 5 days after drop off as promised. We did pay about $80 bucks more due to being over miles (Joshua tree park was far + we drove all around it) but even then the price was reasonable and less then other rentals. If you’re staying local you should be fine. Would highly recommend them if you’re looking for something quick, cheap and reliable.

My recent experience with Elita has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Firstly, I informed the company that I had already purchased insurance independently before renting the vehicle, yet I was still charged for insurance again. This issue was not resolved, and I ended up paying twice unnecessarily.

Additionally, the car I rented had expired tags, which led to a traffic stop on my way to the airport. This was not only inconvenient but also embarrassing. Proper maintenance and preparation of the vehicle could have easily prevented this situation.

The lack of responsiveness and negligence in ensuring basic legal compliance for their rental vehicles reflect poorly on Elita's customer service and operational standards.

Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with the handling of this situation and their overall service quality. Despite my attempts to communicate and resolve the matter, it seems that the company is uninterested in addressing their customers' concerns.

We had such a great experience with this company and so happy we went with this company. The customer service was fantastic and we got the vehicle we were promised plus it came in great condition. Also, our shuttle came quickly after we landed at LAX and our representative also offered to drive us back to the airport because he was worried we didn't have enough time to catch our flight back home. Would definitely recommend this place and book again if we are back in L.A
