Everyone, from the admin staff, to the owner, to the fellows who actually did the work, were respectful, intelligent, and extremely generous with their time, to explain things and to make sure I was satisfied, which I was. Nope. Nice face, bad workmanship. Have someone else install your system. Get other bids. They do not know what they are doing and try to cover that up with a nice face and customer ignorace. The short story is I finally hired another Trane certified company to fix the humidity and thermostat issues that they caused putting in the system. Fixed. After I had a baby. In August.

Long story. Totally thought I was on top of things getting a new AC in march 2024. Bid was 17k before city rebates, with added vents on my House so rooms could be cooled better. Then summer started happening and... a humid warm house.
So I call them and they can't figure it out...not only were their solutions to this problem bogus and put strain on the system ( e.i. blocking an intake vent, and then when that and other solutions didnt work, lets try blocking the intake again!), but the thermostat was set to Adjust for humidity so it read a cooler temp the more humid it was. I have room thermometers that read vastly different temperatures when the humidity was up. The whole thing drove me crazy. I spent many hours with them and a few nights in my car with the ac on and probably a few hours crying. The single most stressful issue of the year was dealing with this company and it is still a sore spot and I'm already stressing about summer. The house cools ok now. I am not ready for the gross smell that comes with the using ac. There's a different room that stays way too warm now and I am just not confident the sytem will last. Also my utility bill is more than with my old system, it's just rediculous.

Bill was super helpful in helping me understand how our AC worked and why our home wasn't cooling/heating the way we wanted. Also, as a female doing home projects I really appreciated the level of respect I was treated with as well as never feeling talked down to or treated differently than if they were talking to my husband. Other than the service and communication being great, the prices were so much more reasonable and affordable than any other quote we got from other companies. They did a great job on our duct work and would highly recommend!!!

I had the Green Collar team replace all of my ducts, diffusers, plenums, insulate my attic and seal all doors and sweeps. This team is professional & efficient, they were in and out in two days. They worked super clean and were conscious of the environment around them. I was informed of all steps ahead of time and they were super organized. This is a small business with a family like structure, most of the team has been there many years and that's what you wanna see. The job was completed in late September and I noticed immediate results, in the hottest of days my AC would cool faster and cycle less. During that last two freezing weather events the heater cycles less and maintains its temp. Green Collar filed all the rebate paper work for us and got us our rebates from the city quite quickly.

Contacted Green Collar Operations and immediately received a phone call back for an in house inspection and assessment. Adam Eastberg was prompt, called in advance of his arrival and listened to my concerns about several of the trouble spots we had along with areas of the house we were losing temperature. Also had them review our AC distribution flow and vents, along with the vent plates throughout the house.

Adam was kind enough to break out all elements of the job to fit our budget and explain what work needed to be done, materials used and time/labor. He even drew out our current vent and distribution flow and explained what the new flow would look like to better serve our house. Green Collar was quick to get the work scheduled, showed up on time and promptly completed the work on our house. Upon completion the business owner came to our house to review the work to ensure it was done to the highest standard. Was very impressed by the quality of work, the competency of the explanation.
This group was a pleasure to work with and I only wish that more contractors operated the way this team does.
Air Distribution Flow, Insulation, Crawl Space covers - call this team and give them a five star. I've already seen a tremendous difference in our heating and cooling costs and only wish I'd called them sooner

It was itemized so that we could prioritize and chose, if we had wanted to do that.All the recommendations were clearly explained and questions answered. The actual installation was on-time, quick, and easy. Everything was done in a professional manner. We felt that we got great value and outstanding service.
