During this challenging time as a small business owner, FRSCPA reached out to me offering help to get the PPP loan and in gathering info needed for the application process. I appreciate all the help and effort they made in this process, but when they reached out, they never informed me that I would be billed for their efforts. I assumed it was a service they were offering current clients to maintain their business in these trying times. FRSCPA chose to take this as an opportunity to make money off of struggling businesses. I saw a charge on my credit card for 765 dollars. I had to call them to find out what the charge was for. They then informed me that it was for support during the PPP application process. I was not provided an invoice for the charge, nor was I aware of the charge before they ran my card. They apologized and only offered to credit half the charge once I told them. I was not happy with the unapproved charge. I was told that I should have known because anything outside of my defined service was an additional charge per my engagement letter. I told them that I wanted a full credit and I did not appreciate their business practices. Later that day, I received an email from a partner, telling me that they would no longer provide bookkeeping or tax services. I spoke to three other firms and was told that they were not charging for PPP support.

He is always available by phone or email. He helped me with the PPP process and other challenges during this pandemic. Would highly recommend his services!

An error was made by their office. They failed to communicate about the best way to resolve the issue. When I called exasperated because of this lack of communication and expressed my displeasure I received an email that was unapologetic about their error, dismissed and insulted. During the busy tax time they obviously cannot maintain their composure or professionalism.
