This scam company took $8000.00 from the husband to settle or set up a payment arrangement for back taxes That NEVER happened for 3 years then one day the IRS but a Lien on my husband and when we called them to say hey HELP we HIRED you they were like "oh well" so I hired an attorney who got the job done! They should offer a refund or some of the money back I will now hire an attorney to handle them too

I have to give a star only way to leave a review.
Its been 5 years since we began our unpleasant journey with a mistake with IRS and
NTE. We took out two loans to pay their services that had to do with 2019 taxes.
1. Completed two years with NTE both years were returned with errors and audits.
2. Our 2019 were never received by IRS after numerous attempts to complete taxes with IRS,

I have a very bad experience with this company, I paid then $5,000 and after that 8,318 , they open a INC on my name and I don’t even need that bc I am sole proprietor, after that they filled two years under my personal tax Id and make me paid in advance and never send the forms to the IRS , now I have a lot of trouble with the IRS , so I don’t recommend this people they just take your money and give you a lot of troubles.(by the way they don’t deserve any star but I have to give them at least one)

My experience with NTE is very scammy and poor. I had some tax issues to deal with a few years ago and was initially quoted a price of around $4500 to deal with it. As they reviewed my case, they said an additional $12,000 was required to complete my case. For all of this money, all I received from NTE was the filing of some old tax returns and a pause on interest accumulating. They did not negotiate with the IRS or provide me with any other benefits. I had to negotiate on my own with the IRS and resolve my owed back taxes. When I called NTE to explain this to them, they said they could help with getting the penalties forgiven because this was my first time dealing with back taxes. This was over a year ago and I have never received no word from them. If I had known all they were going to do was file some old returns, I could have easily done that on my own or worst case, paid a CPA and still save easily thousands of dollars. If you are having tax issues, I would highly recommend finding a local attorney and meeting with them in person and making sure they clearly state what they can do for you.

This is a scam. Would not recommend. I paid this company to handle a settlement. They convinced me to take out a $10,000 loan Where funds were sent directly to them nearly 3 years ago. 3 years later I have no settlement, I’ve paid over $3,000 in interest on the loan, and I’ve called to have the $10,000 released to me only for Jessica at extension 224 to tell me the $10,000 was for their services (that I’d already paid). I am livid and will be hiring an attorney. This is a scam and I want my money!

They helped me resolve my back tax issues with the IRS. The process itself wasn't too long even if the IRS drags their feet. Their retainer wasn't too bad. I'm glad I found national tax - it was all uphill for me since the first time I called them.

I hired this company to settle some delinquent back taxes for me with the IRS. They were easy to contact at the start while they were getting payments from me, and talked about all the work they were doing. Well after several months of them being paid in full , and getting to where it was extremely hard to get any responses back from them via email I decided to contact the IRS directly. They informed me that they have never received a offer an compromise for the back taxes for my account. So pretty much this company stole close to $5,000 and never did a thing that they had stated they had done. So now I'm left with money lost to these crooks , and having to deal with settling my tax debt myself. I beg anyone with tax issues to please stay away from this crooked company that does nothing but scam people after reading more , and more reviews on them
