Texas Tough

I've been getting quotes and noticing a theme. I get a quote on a lumber package from a drawing set. I get that into a contract with client to cover our bases and ensure budget is covered. By the time we get payment from client, let it clear the bank and call to make the purchase they raised the price on the quote 8% with in 6 weeks. A couple of projects in a row.

Stay away. A bunch of thugs. They steel your money, they charge your card and you can never get your money back. The lumber they provide is terrible. Lousy crooked salesman and management. They cheat you on every drop off then they say it was a mistake they never reimburse you for stuff. They flat out stole from me and I could never get my money back. Lousiest experience I’ve ever had. The salesman will lie to you and willingly steal. Manager will not call you back. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Watch out people.

Everyone was awesome! Lumber is great! Don't waste your time going to the big box stores. Wish I would have known about these guys sooner. They have a great product for a great price with great service. I won't shop anywhere else for cedar fence panels and/or supplies. Very impressed

Although Foxworth Galbraith is set up mostly for contractors and builders, I’d like to thank the two ladies in the front, Darenda and Sarah, who went out of their way during their very busy day to help me get exactly what I needed for my DIY project when the local big box stores wouldn’t help. They were thoughtful and knowledgeable, and took the time to help me figure out what I needed to get my project done. So refreshing after dealing with Lowe’s and Home Depot employees who had no knowledge of wood or construction, and just left me standing in the aisles when they couldn’t help. Very grateful to have a local lumber company with such caring employees. I’ll definitely be back.

Took two hours to unload a truck of lumber. If you work for or drive directly for FG then you can probably anticipate being loaded or unloaded promptly considering they continued to pull there trucks around the 5 of us independent trucks sitting and waiting... but, as for the independent trucks we make money by rolling not sitting and waiting for you to unload at your leisure. Especially when we’re punching a clock also, just not getting paid by the hour.

Horrible experience unloading as per normal...

The ladies at FG made sure I had what I needed, made suggestions when I didn’t know exactly what was needed, and were thoughtful, patient, and kind during the entire transaction. I’ll definitely be back for my next project. Thanks for having such great staff at the Red Oak location.

I was recommended here for my project. I think I would have liked this place. I never went. Sad cause I see other reviews were people had a good experience with their project... Called some months ago and female answered very short with me an cut me off. Basically said they don't service people who are doing diy projects, only "BULK" orders. I just wanted 2 boards custom cut 2" x 10" x 10'.

I emailed Mr. Frank regarding miss Darenda Isbell sometime last week, and I am also bringing the compliment for the public eye view.
If you are ever having any misunderstands or issues, Miss Isbell is the one to go to.
Without her, I do not believe my experience in this store would have been as good.
